VENICE- A popular Venice spot for breakfast and lunch, Zelda’s Corner, has closed its doors.

The restaurant, located at 9 Westminster Avenue, announced its closing on an Instagram post this week.

The post, made from chef and owner Edward Klevens, said: “It is with a heavy heart that I wanted to announce that Zelda’s Corner has closed. Between the pandemic and the situation in Venice Beach we were unable to continue. It has been a privilege and pleasure to create food in Venice for the last five and half years."

Numerous comments of support and well wishes suchs as "Oh no, this really made my heart hurt. The community that existed around those three tables was truly epic and the food was impeccable. Can it not be undone?! Say it isn’t so…" we're posted after the announcement.
